 Welcome to my website! I hope you can find some images here that you like. I'm a photographer based in Shetland, in the northern isles of Scotland. Before getting seriously interested in photography I was in a band and so had regular access to gigs in Shetland. When I decided to hang up my keyboards, I started photographing gigs for the promoters as a way to ensure regular free entry! This developed into a much deeper interest in all things photographic and over the last few years I've been asked to do more and more assignments, portrait & wedding photography, landscapes and of course, music events. Here you will find a showcase of my work, with landscape and other images available to buy. I am available for weddings and portrait sessions and will be happy to discuss your requirements. All commissions will be considered and stock photography requirements can be discussed on an individual basis. I welcome your input and look forward to hearing from you I am currently participating in various training programmes and I am a member of the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers (SWPP). I am working on my portfolio in order to achieve full licenciate membership. I am also working with wedding photographers on the UK mainland to increase my experience and find new and exciting ways of approaching wedding and portrait photography.  Portraiture We will happily undertake your portraiture commissions. Sessions can be arranged at our address in lerwick, at your home, or any other Shetland location. Sessions generally last about an hour and you will end up with around 40 shots to choose from in both colour and black and white. We have a fully mobile studio setup and can do high-key (pure white background) portraiture in a space as small as 3 x 4 metres. Portraits in a natural setting can of course be done too. Weddings We would be delighted to photograph your wedding day. We can provide both tradtitional and contemprary reportage coverage. Coverage begins at the bride's house and follows the day from the guests arriving at the ceremony right through to the cutting of the cake and the first dance. After your day you will receive a full set of proofs and a private gallery on the website. We provide an extensive set of options for all budgets and you can choose from a range of prints options and stunning photobooks. Event & Corporate Commissions I am available all year round for various photography commissions. Concerts, festivals and other events can be covered as well as any commissions with a particular requirement for example marketing materials. Stock Photography from craiggchapman.com Most of the images on this website and in my archive can be purchased in electronic form for use in marketing, publications etc In the case of gigs if you find photos of a performer on this site, then there will usually be a stock of around 20 images of that artist at that event available for purchase.
